Estate Pinot Noir 2015 (750ml)

 

In the winery berries were de-stemmed (100%) and fermented in two-tonne open fermenters. Maturation took place over 11 months on lees in French Oak barrels (35% new). 

The nose is complex and perfumed, with depth and vitality. The classic aromas of red and dark cherries mingle with hints of spice. The palate is structured yet elegant, with excellent fruit weight and firm tannins. The long, complex, savoury finish is characteristic of this excellent 2015 vintage.

A mild 2015 growing season resulted in an exceptional vintage, with high quality fruit produced across our vineyards.

WINEMAKING

In the winery berries were de-stemmed (100%) and fermented in two-tonne open fermenters. Maturation took place over 11 months on lees in French Oak barrels (35% new).

TASTING NOTES

This wine has complex lifted aromas of red fruit / dark cherries supported by spicy, savory oak.  The palate has attractive spicy dark cherry flavours, fine grained tannins that combine to produce a lovely textural mouthful.  A very typical Paringa Pinot noir with great power, but poise and elegance as well.
