2016 Robinson Vineyard Pinot Noir – 97 Points

Winewise, Lester Jesberg “This wine comes from the Tuerong sub-region of the peninsula, and is a single clone (MV6) wine. It offers concentrated raspberry aromatics matched with integrated oak. The palate is impressively long and intense, with beautifully balanced tannins.”

2017 Robinson Vineyard Pinot Noir – 95 Points

A medley of dark cherries and plums, flecks of spice especially licorice root and wafts of warm earth. It’s more mid-weighted with shapely tannins, fleshy sweet fruit peeling off to allow through an appealing savouriness.

“A succulent, sweet, smoky display of boysenberry, garden herbs, blood orange and woodsy spice. Medium weight in a varietal context; subtle of tannin; a twigginess to the aftertaste. It’s neither a profound nor a forced wine, but we get an array, a display, a touch of intrigue. It satisfies.”

2019 Robinson Vineyard Pinot Noir – 95 Points

“Deep, rich and voluptuous. An amalgam of black cherries, kirsch, wood spice and menthol, but it’s most definitely in the savoury spectrum. Full bodied, with firm tannins, yet there’s some squishy texture across the palate and lively acidity throughout. Impressive.”
