2019 Paringa Estate Peninsula Shiraz

This delicious cool climate shiraz has aromas of blackberry, black pepper and spice, which lead onto a luscious palate, with fine grained tannins, dark fruit flavours, and a firm dry finish.

Fruit sourced from various peninsula sites, co-fermented with 5% viognier and aged 11 months in used French barriques. A vibrant garnet/purple hue; a core of ripe plums, with a flash of cloves, cinnamon, all warm spices and florals. The palate is savoury, with an appealing succulence bolstered by supple tannins and terrific freshness. It seems vintage ’19 suits shiraz from this region.
