The highly perfumed nose has aromas of dark cherry and damson, mingled with black pepper and floral notes. The palate is opulent and intense, with vivid purple fruits. Fine-grained tannins give structure and balance, and a long savoury finish.
The fruit is from our estate vineyard, which was planted in 1985. After fermentation in oak foudres, the shiraz is aged for 15 months in new and seasoned French oak barriques.
