LJM is the latest addition to the Paringa Estate portfolio. Quite simply, it’s the best of the best; a blend of our finest single vineyard barrels of pinot noir, from an exceptional vintage, 2022.
It’s a wine which has taken several decades to create. The fruit comes from our oldest pinot noir blocks, planted in 1988. It is handpicked, destemmed, and fermented in our 3,500 Litre French oak foudres. It is then aged in a combination of new and old barrels. The final stage is an extensive tasting of all the wines by Lindsay and Jamie to choose which barrels will go into the blend.

"Absolutely singing with electric energy – a line of energy running from the back to the front, vibrating with energy. But it's a pretty serious wine, clenched with white-knuckle tension, masses of minerality, chalk and chew. Dried tarragon and dill. Cherry sherbet and dried cranberries and vanilla-pod dust.
