This is an elegant and beautifully structured wine. A perfumed, complex nose with aromas of red cherry, damson and black pepper spice, leads onto an exceptional palate, with fine grained tannins and poised acidity. It has a long savoury finish.
After fermentation in oak 3.5 foudres, the shiraz is aged for 10 months in new (30%) and seasoned French oak barriques.
